Indira thrived at Mercia, saying:

My time at Mercia has been invaluable to me. Not only has the academically rigorous environment challenged me, but it also made me feel positive in making a successful competitive application to Cambridge.

The support system here is incredible, especially the unique ‘schools’ system. Being placed in the School of Arts and Social Sciences gave me a plethora of opportunities to dive deeper into the interdisciplinary nature of my subjects as well as fostering a supportive and welcoming community.

I truly felt like every win – academic or otherwise– was celebrated by my peers and vice versa. The teaching quality is exceptional and has prepared me well to make a confident start at Cambridge.

Thanks to the extended school day and teachers who constantly encouraged and inspired me, I have made a seamless transition to the Cambridge life and workload. I have thoroughly enjoyed every minute of my time at Cambridge so far and I am very grateful for the role Mercia played in getting me there.
