Meals provided each day
We provide breakfast, lunch and two healthy snacks for all pupils throughout the school day. The school day is longer than in many other settings, so we ensure that pupils receive highly nutritious food that supports sustained concentration and strong academic performance.
All pupils eat the same meals unless they have prescribed dietary needs. No packed lunches are permitted.
Dietary needs and medical requirements
Our chef and team are highly trained and cater for all pupils, including those with allergies, dietary requirements or medical needs. We take great care to understand each pupil’s needs. The SENDCO and the head of inclusion work closely with the chef to ensure every pupil can participate fully in family dining. Amendments to the menu are made where required.
Family dining
All pupils eat their lunch together every day. Family dining is a central part of our school culture, and no child is excluded from this experience. One hundred per cent participation is expected.
Pupils with additional needs receive appropriate support during family dining. Pupils are encouraged to give appreciations, and staff guide them to do this confidently and respectfully.
Meal costs and payment
The cost of all food provided is £2.61 per day. Payments must be made through ParentPay.
